An answer to my own little Snape-spanking challenge...

It's gen, by the way, although it could be interpreted as het.

Luna believed in the traditional approach to spanking.

Her left hand played idly with the Potion Master's black hair, while her right hand rested on his naked bum. He lay across her lap, his black robe pulled up and his underpants pulled down.

She could sense that he was beginning to get restless. After all, she'd kept him there for almost half of her assigned time, and had yet to actually spank him. She had just been so caught up in staring at the red colour of his bottom, wondering what had happened in his recent sessions with Hermione, Ginny and Lavender Brown.

"Will you just get on with it?" The tense voice was muffled by the sofa his face was buried in.

She shrugged, and lifted her right hand, bringing it down again in a hard slap. The body jerked, but Snape made no sound.

Frowning, she tried again, putting more effort into it. Surely, with the colour his bottom already was, she could do better. This time she was rewarded with a low groan, instantly stifled.

She spanked even harder, and the groan got louder, as her hand tormented the tender flesh beneath.

It was interesting, really. The way the body jerked forward with each touch; the clenching of the muscles in his red buttocks; the unwilling cries. She observed it all clinically, analysing each reaction.

The frequency of spanks increased steadily as she got the hang of it. She thought her hand would probably be aching by now, if it weren't for the numbing spell she had performed shortly before entering the room.

The clock on the wall signalled that she had just one minute left, and she was determined to make use of it. After all, who knew how long it might be until she was able to do this again?

Her hand rose and fell so fast and so hard that she almost felt it was magically-influenced. Perhaps it was. The pixies could be responsible - it would be like them after all. They would delight in Professor Snape's pain.

Finally the clock chimed, but she risked just one more, putting everything she had into this final spank. A muffled shout came from below, and a smile appeared on her face as she rubbed his bottom soothingly.

He slowly, shakily stood up, and after she herself stood she applauded him briefly, noting and dismissing the glare he gave her. She walked across the room and opened the door, smiling happily at Harry, who was there to take his turn at punishing Snape. Turning slightly, she was amused by the pained, humiliated expression on the Potion Master's face.

"Potter," he greeted, looking anywhere but at the young man.

She grinned at Harry again, and then left the room, closing it gently behind her. She leaned against it for a minute or two, listening quietly, and beamed when she heard the first muffled cry.

She left happily, heading to the Great Hall to get some lunch.

Behind her, another cry could just about be heard.
